Why can floor preparation be necessary?

A new floor usually needs a clean, dry, solid and sufficiently flat surface underneath it. Depending on the existing floor, preparation can include removing glue, patching holes or low spots, grinding high spots, leveling uneven areas, repairing cracks or addressing moisture. You do not have to include preparation in this estimate, but if the site needs it, the final price may change after ARSEN inspects the floor.
